The road sign calls it Wild Horses Monument, but the real name of this artwork is Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies. And despite being begun in 1989, it’s still not complete! The trail itself is unremarkable, but after reading the history of the sculpture, you may agree that it’s worth the stop, and the short hike to see it up close.
Mission Ridge Ski Resort. Family Fun... Light powder. Tons of sun. Amazing views. Terrain that fits everyone in the family. That's us. Only 12 miles from Wenatchee, the ski area is built into a 2,000 acre basin on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains. We are a little higher, a little drier, and quite a bit "sunshinier" (300 days annually, in fact) than the other mountains in our area. That means when storms come in, they drop a different kind of snow at Mission Ridge: light, dry powder.

Beaumont Winery. Visit our Quincy Tasting Room and see where it all began. Located on our 120-acre homestead, it is a rustic room nestled into our working winery and warehouse. The adjacent covered area, the Crushpad, is where we crush and press grapes, as well as hold our seasonal dinners. The experience is distinctly rural and deeply relaxing — warm sun, fresh air, abundant growth. Our grapes love it here, and you will, too.
